Cooking for Snowdonia Easter trip 25th-30th March 2011

This is a page to organise food for the Easter vacation trip to Snowdonia. It's a bit more difficult to do this on vacation trips as people will be staying for different numbers of nights, but if anyone's keen to do some group cooking or has any other food-related thoughts, this is the place to write about it!

The kitchen is small but well equipped. All crockery, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans are provided. The club will supply cooking oil. The hut kitchen has an electric cooker.

Click edit at the top to change the text (you'll need to be logged in to your account the website first - click [l|/user/register|here] to register if you don't have one). You can either suggest a meal idea or join one of the existing ones and you're obviously also welcome to sort yourself out. The person who suggests the meal is responsible for arranging the ingredients - everyone else in the group should bring money on the trip to pay for their share, and expect to help with the preparation and washing up.

Friday

Those travelling in cars will probably stop off on the way as they will be arriving late

However, Joe, Becky, Simon, Andrew, Chris and Jeremy will be arriving in time for dinner. Shall we cook?

Vegetable Stroganoff

(One of few things in my repertoire)

Vegetables, rice and creamy sauce. Works well for six people. I'll buy the stuff, but if it doesn't happen, I can cook another night. Chris

Pudding suggestions welcome.

Given the lack of suggestions, I had planned to cook myself. Therefore, don't worry about me. [AW]

Saturday

Because there will be so many people here this night and the kitchen is quite small, can we try to limit the number of cooking groups to a maximum of 3 so that we don't end up with a massive pile-up
