Cooking for Mystery Trip, 7th-9th March 2014

This is a wiki (editable web page) to organise cooking for the CUHWC Mystery Trip on the weekend of 7th-9th March 2014. The kitchen is relatively small, with a 2 hob electric cooker, as well as a fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle. Cutlery, pans, plates/bowls/mugs, knives and chopping boards will be provided.

Click edit at the top to change the text (you'll need to be logged in to your account on the website first - click here to register if you don't have one). Due to the small size of the kitchen, you can either sign up for the pub (very close; £10-£15 a main), or Vicky's 'Mystery' cooking plan - just state veggie/non-veggie and then email her what ingredients you intend to bring by Wednesday (in case you have that aubergine lying at the bottom of the fridge that desperately needs used). Ingredients should be worth £3 and enough for 6 portions. If you don’t care what you are bringing Vicky will email you with a simple description like “carb”/”vegetable”/ “dessert diary”. On the Saturday evening we’ll then cook ready steady cook style concocting something from all the junk we’ve got! Vicky will bring sundries like flour, butter and spices. If there’s enough interest we’ll split into 2 groups (veggie and non-veggie).

Timetable Meal suggestions by Tuesday evening. Finalise groups by Wednesday night so the person suggesting the meal knows how much they have to buy and has a couple of days to do the shopping.
