Cairngorms Vacation Trip, 20 - 25 March 2022

For this year's Winter Vacation trip we'll be heading to the Cairngorms, a mountain range in the eastern Highlands of Scotland.

We have booked Muir Cottage from 20 - 25 March; you can come for the full period, or for a slightly shorter stay if you prefer. The price is £60, whatever the length of your stay. Please state which dates you would like to come for when signing up.

The bunkhouse is very remote - about 5 miles from the nearest bus stop, which is in Braemar.

You are responsible for your own transport. Given the remoteness of the location, cars would be ideal. If you travel up to Aberdeen, Aviemore or Inverness by train, you can rent a car from any of those locations. If you'd like to share a car, whether as a driver or a passenger, you can let people know on the wiki (https://www.cuhwc.org.uk/wiki/transport-cairngorms-vacation-trip-20-25-mar-2022). If you're a driver, please let people know when you'll be travelling and how many passengers you can take as soon as possible.

Please note that by signing up here you agree to pay the trip fee if you are allocated a space. Please notify the President if you can no longer make the trip before the ballot closes on February 10th at 4pm (cuhwcpresident@gmail.com).
